Precision Rifle Solutions "Medium" tripod scabbard is a dedicated scabbard to hold your tripod so that you do not have to lash the tripod to the outside of the ruck or stuff it into the ruck. Having a secure easy access scabbard for your tripod means you will not waste time digging through your ruck or unstrapping everything to set up that shot. With molle attachment capability and four connection straps included, the scabbard easily attaches to the side or back of molle equipped packs. The scabbard can also be used as a standalone carrying case for your tripod with the included carry strap. Triangular design of the scabbard allows the tripod to be easily inserted or extracted from the scabbard. The design also allows the scabbard to lay flat when not in use. The fold over top flap can be utilized with or without the cradle installed on the tripod. The top flap is equipped with elastic loops to secure the tripod within the scabbard and helps keep dirt, rain and snow out of the scabbard. These elastic loops are quiet and allow the top flap to be adjusted to hold the tripod and attachments. The Bottom of the scabbard is equipped with a grommet to allow dirt and water to drain from the scabbard. Scabbards are made from 1000D Cordura nylon and sewn with milspec thread. Scabbards are available in coyote, OD green, and Multicam.
This scabbard is purpose built to accommodate what we call our "Medium" tripod. While it may work for other tripods out there please reference the following dimensions to be sure. Inside depth of the "Medium" scabbard is 14" and the base is a 3 3/4" equallateral triangle.
